Operational Modes
At Digital Payment Technologies (DPT), we know that different solutions are appropriate for different parking scenarios. That’s why we have built our pay stations and parking management systems to embrace flexibility and extensibility. The choice is yours as to whether you want to employ Pay-and-Display (PND), Pay-by-Space (PBS), or Pay-by-License Plate (PBL). Each LUKE and SHELBY pay station supports all three operational modes without the need to buy a new system or expensive new hardware. This flexibility means that as your needs evolve, you can switch from one mode to another, or even employ different modes concurrently on the same lot. DPT pay stations are also compatible with leading Pay-by-Phone services. Both pay station and phone payment information is consolidated in DPT’s secure Web-based EMS backend, so enforcement officers need only inspect one source to determine if a violation has occurred.
