Extend-by-Phone

Digital Payment Technologies (DPT) provides the industry’s first fully integrated Extend-by-Phone (EBP) pay station service, which allows consumers to receive parking expiration reminders and extend time for pay station-initiated parking transactions via text (SMS) messaging.
Extend-by-Phone does not require any user account and, works with both Pay-by-License Plate and Pay-by-Space configurations. EBP is compatible with virtually all mobile phones and delivers value for both consumers and parking operators.

The EBP service can provide a number of benefits to your parking operation, most notably an opportunity to increase revenue. Convenience: When paying with credit card, consumers can provide their mobile phone number at the pay station to receive a text message reminder when their parking session is about to expire, consumers can even add time to their parking by simply replying to the reminder with the amount of additional time they need. No longer do consumers need to rush back to the pay station or risk getting a citation; a simple text message allows them to extend their parking session remotely and resume their activities with peace of mind.
Increased Revenues: Only a small fraction of vehicles parked in violation are actually caught by enforcement officers.
