Digital Payment Technologies Announces Integration with T2 Systems
Vancouver, B.C. - Digital Payment Technologies Corp. (DPT) is pleased to announce a partnership with T2
Systems Inc., a leading provider of parking technology solutions, that will help enforcement officers become more
productive and increase citation collections. The integration of T2 Flex handheld software and DTP's LUKE and
SHELBY pay stations allows officers to enforce parking rules and issue citations without having to visit each pay station
to get a list of paid and unpaid spaces.
Enforcement of Pay-by-Space systems is currently a labor-intensive activity. One parking lot may be served by multiple
Pay-by-Space machines and the enforcement officer must visit each machine, produce a printout of current space
utilization, and then walk through the lot to compare actual occupancy with the printout. During this time, parkers come
and go and the printout becomes obsolete fairly quickly.
In the latest version of T2 Flex, T2's parking management system, enforcement officers no longer need to visit the pay
stations. The handheld ticketwriter provides color-coded information in real-time, showing which spaces have expired
and the time remaining on other spaces. If the officer chooses to issue a citation, the space location and offence
information is automatically entered into the citation. The integration works with DTP's LUKE and SHELBY pay stations
through DPT's Internet-based Enterprise Management System (EMS) monitoring system.
For officers, this means increased efficiency and accuracy from relying on real-time information when issuing a citation.
For managers, the increased number of violations receiving a citation and fewer appeals produces higher revenues,
while audit reporting and activity tracking enable you to measure usage and officer productivity.
"DPT is very pleased to announce our partnership with T2 Systems," comments Chris Chettle, DPT VP Marketing and
Product Management. "Our company is continuing to partner with leading industry companies like T2 to find ways to
expand the benefits of our multi-space meters. Given that T2 and DPT already share many clients, we expect to see a
rapid adoption of this new capability over the coming months."
Says Irena Goloschokin, T2 Systems VP Marketing: "We are very excited about this partnership and the added
functionality this integration provides to our shared clients. This is just one of many partnerships that T2 has established
which enables us to offer extra functionality to our core parking management solution."
