John Fraissinet
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
John Fraissinet is a seasoned technology industry executive with over 25 years of senior management experience in highly successful companies. He was formerly CEO of GaleForce Solutions, a venture-backed software firm focused on providing customer management solutions to the financial services industry. He has held executive positions in hardware and software firms, and established his own management consulting practice to assist high-tech companies launch sales and marketing strategies for rapid revenue growth.
Prior to starting his own consulting organization, John was Crystal Decisions' VP of sales and marketing. He was responsible for all channel partner relationships in the Americas, and helped drive the company's license base from four million users to more than twelve million in his five years. Before joining Crystal Decisions, John was VP and GM of Network Computing Devices' PC-X division in Portland, Oregon. He also held several key executive positions with Silicon Valley-based growth companies, including Borland International, Ashton-Tate, NEC Home Electronics and IBM.
Christopher MacPhail
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Chris MacPhail has been CTO of DPT since 2006, bringing more than 25 years of experience in hardware and software development in various high technology companies in the Vancouver area. Prior to joining DPT, Chris was President and Co-Founder of a wireless telematics company called Brixan Technologies. Previous to that Chris was President, CEO and Co-Founder of Orbital Technologies, a $5-million software consulting firm serving large independent software vendors (ISVs). Following its acquisition by Orbital, Chris also served as CEO of Simba Technologies, a firm specializing in database middleware products. Earlier in his career Chris progressed from his initial role as a hardware and software engineer on up to software development manager to partner at Paradigm Development Corp.
Chris Chettle
Senior Vice President, Sales
Chris took on the responsibility of Senior Vice President, Sales beginning in August 2009 leading sales and customer service teams at DPT following his tenure as Vice President, Marketing which began in 2006 overseeing DPT’s marketing, product management and strategic partnership activities. Chris joined DPT in April 2004 to develop DPT’s project management and customer service teams. He took a lead role in overseeing the first installations of the LUKE pay station.
Chris started his career at Nexus Display Systems Corp. as the company’s first U.S. Account Executive and was eventually promoted to Director of Sales when U.S. sales reached over 90 percent of the company’s total revenues. In 1999, he joined TVC Canada, a national communications distributor, and held several senior management positions that included National Sales Manager during a time when the company generated over $48 million annually.
Mark Gemino
Vice President, Manufacturing Engineering
Mark Gemino has more than 25 years experience in all facets of electronics manufacturing. Prior to joining DPT in 2000, Mark was Director, Wireless Messaging Group for Glenayre, a major designer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment, where he oversaw a staff of 52. From 1996 to 1999, Mark was Director, Production for the same company, and was responsible for 300 employees operating in a multiple shift environment. Mark has implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, designed training programs and has experience with supply chain management, operations management and ISO 9001 quality control.
Mark Ward
Vice President, Production
Mark Ward joined DPT in July 2010 as the company’s Vice President, Production. Mark is an established high-tech manufacturing business leader with expertise leading production operations, supply chain management, and purchasing teams. His successful track record points to collaborative work with companies such as Creo Products Inc. and Eastman Kodak where he led $50 million CoGs device manufacturing and $150 million purchasing teams that employed best-in-class methodologies, leadership, global sourcing, and lean practices to improve quality and delivery, all the while reducing costs and inventory. Mark began his career with 12 years of design and production engineering before taking on 15 years of progressive responsibility in production management and procurement.
Alan Menezes
Vice President, Product Management & Marketing
Alan Menezes joined DPT in March 2010 as the company’s Vice President, Product Management and Marketing, overseeing all of the company’s strategic and tactical marketing activities and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining DPT, Alan served in senior management roles at a number of companies in Silicon Valley from start-ups to public entities.
Alan started his career in engineering at Novatel and Nortel prior to moving to product management with 3Com in 1988. In 1990, Alan co-founded OnStream Networks, a supplier of broadband wide-area network equipment, which was successfully acquired by 3Com in 1996. Subsequently, Alan joined the founding team of Aperto Networks, a manufacturer of broadband wireless access equipment, as Vice President, Marketing. During his tenure at Aperto, Alan played a key role in establishing the company as a market leader in WiMAX equipment.
